Land & Treaty Acknowledgement
The Toronto Red Pages respectfully acknowledges that our business operates on the traditional territory of many Indigenous Nations. Toronto is located on the lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Wendat, and Huron-Wendat Peoples. This area is covered by Treaty 13 and is also subject to the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, a sacred agreement to peacefully share and care for the land and its resources.
As an Indigenous-owned business founded by a proud member of the Mi'kmaq First Nation, we recognize the enduring presence, histories, cultures, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Turtle Island.
At The Toronto Red Pages, we are committed to promoting businesses, organizations, and community initiatives while fostering respect, inclusion, and meaningful relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities. We honour the original caretakers of these lands, acknowledge the responsibilities that come with living and working here, and support ongoing efforts toward truth, reconciliation, and mutual understanding.
